In 2015, we worked with 217 churches in the provinces of Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Kampong Thom, Banteay Meanchey and Battambang. Throughout the year, 1,131 children participated in the children’s prayer fellowship events. We provided training to 314 children’s teachers and 163 church leaders to enable them to be more effective in their communities. Through community workshops we trained 2,214 villagers including children and parents to better understand the issues of child rights, importance of child education, first aid, safe migration, negative effects of taking photos of children, reproductive health, child protection, sanitation, human trafficking, child abuse, and parenting skills. We were able to help 1224 children continue their education in primary and secondary schools. We also helped 225 families (est. 1,125family members benefited) to improve their economic conditions through micro-loans. In the health sector, we have raised up 23 community health volunteers. The Community Health Volunteers conducted basic hygiene trainings to 984 participants. 1,789 adults and 3,676 children received the benefits of water wells and latrines. 29 students were helped to pursue high school education and 36 students were able to pursue tertiary education.
